Rockies(3-1) @ Pirates(4-2) Preview…
The Rockies open a four game series today at PNC Park against their former manager Clint Hurdle. Just like Buck Showalter in Baltimore, Clint Hurdle has changed the attitude and the mentality of the players in Pittsburgh. Their 4-2 record is complied up of taking 2 of 3 from the Cubs at Wrigley and 2 of 3 from the Cards at Busch.
The Pirates and Rockies have always played each other pretty evenly over the years. The Rockies are 78-74 against the Pirates. Including a 3-4 record in 2010. What’s worse is the Rockies are 34-45 on the road against the Pirates, and 15-23 at PNC Park since it opened in 2001?
